SPANISH FORK- Mrs. Elisa-
beth Lavina Wood, 61 wife of
Wellington Wood, died Monday
night at her home after an illness
of several months. She was born
at Nephi, March 9, 1879, to Tho-
mas and Lavina Ostler Ferris.
She was educated in the public
schools. She married Mr. Wood
Noc. 28, 1898, in the Salt Lake
L. D. S. temple. They had lived
in Spanish Forkever since. She
was active in the auxiliary
branches of L. D. S. church
work, especially in the Relief so-
ciety and the genealogical society.
She i survived by her husband,
six sons and two daugthers, Merril,
Willis, Syrinus, Vernal, Ferris and
Ferrin Wood, Mrs. M. D. Warren,
all of Spanish Fork and Mrs. Carl
D. Nybo of Salem; one brother,
Jushua Ferris of Payson; two sis-
ters, Mrs. Arthur Williams of
Pioche, Nevada and Mrs. Eldon
Fullmer og Magna, Utah. A num-
ber of grandchildren also survive.
Funeral arrangements will be an-
nounced later by the Deseret Mon-
tuary.
