sen Was Ajctive in Charity
Mrs. Emmy Laura Scott Christen-
sen, widow of Gen. Christian T.
Christensen, former precident of
the Brooklyn Trust Compagny and
one of the most influential citizens
of this boro, died yesterday in her
apartment in the Franklin Arms, 66
Orange st., after an Illness of two days
of the infirmities of age. She was in her
91th year.
Mrs Christensen was born in Brooklyn,
the Daugther of the late Frederick and
Ophelia Richter Scott, and was interested
all her lifetime in Charitable activities.
She was for 51 years a manager of the
Home for Children Steriing pl. and Vander-
bilt ave., and was also interested in the
Home for Comsumptives. She was former-
ly for many years a member of the Brooklyn
Wonen`s club.She and her Husband were
lifelong members of Plymouth Church . She
is survived by three daugthers. Mrs. George
W. Mears. Mrs. William Seymour, Edwards
and Mrs. H. G. Whey, and a number af grandechil-
dren and great-grandechildren. Funeral servi-
ces will be held at Plymouth Church to morrow
afternoon at 2:30 o`clock. the Rev. J. Howard
Mellsh, rector of Holy Trinity P. E. Church, offi-
ciating, Interment will be in Greenwood Cemetery.
